This workshop is for teachers of any instrument and advanced students with an interest in pedagogy, as well as anybody interested in its content.

El concepto de Aprendizaje Simultáneo de Paul Harris es actualmente una forma de enseñanza reconocida y muy apreciada en todo el mundo. Este enfoque apasionante, imaginativo y holístico anima a los alumnos a aprender de forma positiva, eficaz e independiente. Da la vuelta al anticuado estilo "reactivo" de enseñanza (los alumnos tocan, cometen errores y el profesor corrige). Esta forma de enseñar, inherentemente práctica, te permite como profesor, sacar lo mejor de todos tus alumnos e incluir todas las destrezas básicas dentro del tiempo de clase estándar. En este curso descubriremos técnicas que permiten a los alumnos desarrollarse mucho mejor como músicos.
La sesión se dividirá en cuatro secciones. En la primera, Paul hablará del Aprendizaje Simultáneo, centrándose en el aprendizaje en sí mismo. A continuación, "El profesor virtuoso" se centrará en el profesor. Seguirá una sesión más breve sobre cómo hacer que nuestros alumnos estudien, y el curso terminará con una sesión sobre la "Enseñanza incondicional", que profundizará, de forma práctica y útil, en el fascinante ámbito de la psicología de la enseñanza.
Paul Harris’s concept of Simultaneous Learning is now a recognised and highly regarded form of teaching worldwide. This exciting, imaginative and holistic approach encourages students to learn positively, effectively and independently. It turns the old-fashioned ‘reactive’ style of teaching (pupils play, make mistakes and teacher corrects) on its head. This inherently practical way of teaching allows you, as teacher, to get the best out of all your pupils and include all the core skills within a standard lesson time. In this presentation you will discover techniques that enable pupils to develop much more fully as musicians.
The session will be divided into four segments. In the first, Paul will discuss Simultaneous Learning which concentrates on the learning itself. This will be followed by ’the Virtuoso Teacher’ which will look more closely at the teacher. A shorter session on getting our students to practise will follow and the day will end with a session on ‘Unconditional Teaching’ which delves, in a practical and useful way, into the fascinating area of the psychology of teaching.
